Beech Hill Farm Welcomes you to The Coach House, Rushlake Green, part of 1066 Country and near Glyndebourne, Battle and the beauty of the High Weald. We are Open All Year.

Whether you would like to Vacation in the UK, enjoy a Farm Stay, a Short Break or a Country Retreat, the Coach House offers a VisitBritain 4 Star Quality in Tourism rated Self-Catering Cottage on a 20 acre organically run estate with Rare Breed Sheep producing the finest fleece and finished products.

2008 brings us to our 10th Season, now firmly established as a member of Sawday’s Special Escapes, Visit Sussex and the Green Tourism Business Scheme. We also welcome Walkers and Cyclists and can help you plan your arrival by Public Transport if you wish.

Built in 1799 as the coach house to Beech Hill Farm with the stable and coaching pond (to clean off the wheels) near at hand, this oak –framed and locally kilned, brick-built building was lovingly re-built in 1999 by the current owner. Artistically restored to the highest standards, it offers panoramic views over the wild orchard to the unspoilt medieval landscape of the High Weald in which this small organically run 20 acre estate sits. Set 60 metres or so from the main house, with its own entrance on to a country road between the two villages of Rushlake Green and Cowbeech.
