Built in 1799 as the Coach House for Beech Hill Farm, this oak framed building was lovingly restored in 1999 to the highest standards. As Alistair Sawday's Special Escapes says "An unusual set-up, and so refreshing...Julia has created a creative escape for those who want to come and write, read or paint". Enjoy England agree who have awarded this property with 4 stars
Overlooking a wild orchard which lead you through to the panoramic views of the unspoilt medieval High Weald. You can sit outside eating your meals (perhaps eating some of the rare breed lamb from Julia's own flock), listening to the many birds which congregate in the garden. An area of unspoilt natural beauty, peaceful, perfect and tranquil.
The interior has a light airy feeling, it is an open plan design with a living area that leads through to a simplistic yet stylish bedroom, and a well appointed kitchen area.
