THE STUDIO SANCTUARY
Description
The Studio, set down a green track at the opposite end of the estate to The Coach House is a unique concept.It offers quiet and protected space for personal retreat, light and airy space for small group workshops, and comfortable surroundings in which to write, edit, paint or muse. Converted with a contemporary feel from a former agricultural building, all the furniture is movable if an empty studio is called for.
Yoga/music groups, Craft Open Days, Watercolour Exhibitions and family weeks all flow in and out of the seasons.
The Studio is in the yard area near the sheep, an amazing number of wild birds and surrounding fields and there are plenty of places to go and sit and watch nature and the Rare Breed Sheep or pick blackberries.
The French windows look out over the unchanged beauty of the High Weald with its hilly slopes, hedges and ancient woodland, dotted with sheep and cattle. This is traditional, mixed-stock, farming country.
